...on creative and strategy. With more than 100 awards for creative work over the past few years, we clearly have a deep well of talent in that department. And brilliant creative is hugely important. But what really makes for a powerful advertising initiative is when creative and strategy intersect. Effective campaigns are—first and foremost—strategically grounded. A sound strategy supplies the groundwork for every execution, provides you with a clearly defined position, and forms the foundation for the future stardom of a great brand. |
...on being uncomplicated and easy to work with. We believe in making it really easy to work with us. Many of us have been clients in former lives. We understand your perspective, because we've actually operated from your perspective. We are the least complicated business partner we know, and we fully intend to keep it that way. We do this by developing strong partnerships and exceeding expectations—two things that come standard with every engagement. |

...on who does what. Our interactive guys are creative and our creatives are interactive. Our creatives are media people, and our media people are creative. What does that mean? It means that we're very good at blurring the lines between media, creative and interactive to get the best and biggest ideas regardless of department. In the real world, these lines are on the verge of disappearing anyway, and we believe the key to effective advertising is to consider them as one and the same. |
...on interactive and Web 2.0. Everyday, we are immersed in the latest and greatest of the digital world. We're building blogs and integrating content. We're leveraging YouTube and Twitter to help clients connect with consumers. And we're checking Facebook to see if that weird guy from middle school is still trying to "friend" us. (But we digress.) The point is, in our world, new media isn't new. It's mainstream. Since day one, we've staffed a complete, in-house interactive department. We provide website design, web programming, database administration-basically all the services that agencies usually farm out. In our experience, it's been invaluable to keep the "farm" in house, leading to better and bigger ideas, more integration and quicker turnarounds. |
